This company was started in 2009 by Geoff Morrow. He first started his career in the trades industry working in saw mills and eventually branched out into welding at a Prince George welding shop where he gained experience getting multiple welding tickets and fabricating a various amount of items for projects. He then became the superintendent at the same fabrication shop and this started his management experience. It was after a few years of being the superintendent, he decided to start this company. Geoff started his company managing project work on Tanks at an oil refinery. Tank Work has stayed a steady stream of project work is a bit of a specialty for Geoff since he has done many Tank projects since the inception of the company. Over the past 11 years, the amount of experience and knowledge that has come into the company is immense, the variety of projects that have been managed by our company has created a great blend of experience and site knowledge. Geoff spearheads the company and prefers to work on-site and manage boots-on-the-ground style. He has worked hard to find the right employees to create a very professional and safety focused company atmosphere. Our company prides itself on the experience of our team, and the amount of knowledge they have gained throughout their careers. Our team is always made up of Project/Construction Managers that come from various backgrounds to ensure a good fit for every project. Our current employee roster contains a Red Seal Boilermaker and Millwright whom have had a large amount of experience working with piping as well. The majority of the work done by G. Morrow Contracting has been at Sawmills, Pulp mills, and Oil Refineries in the Prince George area. In addition, some work has been completed at mines in BC as well. Our expertise lies in the Oil & Gas Industry and the Paper/Pulp Industry as we have been working onsite at Oil Refineries and Mills since the beginning of the company. Despite this expertise, our company always welcomes the opportunity to branch out into a new industry and challenge ourselves to learn new and better ways of management for different projects.
